THE SPACE

This charming home is located in an up and coming neighborhood in North Salt Lake. Restaurants, movie theaters, a spanking new mall, a paved bike trail and the picturesque Legacy Park are all within easy reach. The whole area is well maintained and is at its prettiest in summer and fall. You’ll find the people are friendly here in NSL. The SLC international airport is just 10 minutes away and the popular Lagoon Amusement Park is just 15 minutes away. Being located a little north of Salt Lake City, you will pass a refinery and some businesses on your way to this captivating little gem.

The feel of the home is contemporary and serene. Pleasing colors blend with tasteful décor, and there are thoughtful touches in every room.

The living room has lots of comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV with Roku, Netflix and cable, interesting occasional tables and pleasant lighting make it a pleasure to put your feet up and chill.

The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a king-sized bed that features – a base with upper and lower adjustable functions, a Health Care massage mattress, and when needed can be separated into twin beds. Guaranteed to give you a good night’s rest!

The other two bedrooms share a bathroom, and are equipped with soft, comfortable queen-sized beds. What’s a perfect stay if your bed ain’t right, eh?


The kitchen comes well equipped with everything that you need to rustle up your morning meal and have it at the conveniently placed breakfast table.

A few steps towards the back and you are in a delightful little conservatory. The wicker furniture takes you back to a bygone era. Natural light floods into this charming space where you can empty your mind and just relax with a book.


And then - you step out onto the back deck shaded over by a latticed roof, a beautiful wrought iron table with chairs invitingly placed catches your eye. Looking further out into the garden, you are captivated by the Zen vibe. Well-chosen foliage and stone artifacts are artfully scattered all over the garden, pleasing the eye. And, to please the appetite, is a grill that can be fired up for a barbecued meal!


BREAKFAST:

Our kitchen comes with the convenience of all the breakfast basics to get you off to a good start during your stay with us. Make yourself a cup of coffee, a refreshing glass of juice, and toss up a couple of eggs with your toast. Pancakes? Waffles? You’ll find the convenience of having them all within reach.


THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

North Salt Lake offers all the convenience of being within 10 minutes of downtown Salt Lake City while having more of a small-town feeling. Legacy Park is perfect in summer. The kids have free access to Legacy Parks Splash Pad on a hot summer day. Picnic areas shaded with awnings make it perfect for a day out. Summer also brings the Farmers Market and Food Truck events every Wednesday from 4 – 8 pm. It is common to see families getting out and about to enjoy the beauty of the area.


GUEST ACCESS:

A booking gives you exclusive access to the whole property. You needn’t worry about sharing the home with unknown guests. You get all the privacy you need.
Check in any time after 4 pm. This home has a hassle-free keyless entry. You will be sent an unlock access code, unique to your stay, eliminating the need to pick up keys from someone. Just punch the code and you’re in!


INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

We’re happy to chat and share our tips for things to do in the area. But we also respect that you’re here to explore, not talk to us, but we are always available to answer any questions or concerns.

HOUSE RULES

 

NO PETS, NO SHOES, NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING, NO DRUGS*!

 

Quiet hours begin at 10pm. Indoor and outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum. This property is equipped with a decibel meter and the police will be notified should there be any noise disturbances. Tenants shall use the property for legal purposes only and NO other use, such as, but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring of fugitives, etc. ; shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits. The police will be notified should the Landlord suspect any illegal activities.

 

Check-out Instructions:

 

Please take out all trash.

Please pile used towels, washcloths and kitchen towels in the bathtub.

Please be sure to wash all your dishes.

Please return any moved objects or furniture back to their original spots.

Please lock the doors and close the windows.

 

Additional Fees

  • Fee for bringing pets: $200

I, Carmen, suffer from really bad allergies and many times I had to use my EPIPEN when my asthma rescue inhaler doesn’t open my lungs. If you know somebody with really bad allergies you know what I’m talking about. So for respect to allergic people, we ask you to not bring your pets into our property.

We advertise as a pet-free, allergy-friendly vacation rental and it takes a certified asthma and allergy cleaning company to get rid of pet hair and dander.

There are many hosts that welcome pets. If you plan on traveling with your pet, please look for another property. I don’t want to cancel your reservation and charge you a $200 fee to hire a professional allergy cleaning company.

 

  • Fee for smoking inside the house: $250 (fee goes towards cleaning carpets, drapes, bedding and other fabrics where smoke was trapped). Includes use of vaping or e-cigarettes.

  • Fee for unauthorized guests: $10/per night per person

We will charge the credit card on file an additional $10/per night per person for every unauthorized guest. You should have seen this fee if you entered the right amount of guests before booking our place.

 

  • Fee for not following check-out instructions: $25 per extra hour of labor.

The cleaning fee charged for this property covers 4 hours of cleaning. It also includes the cost of professional laundry service and cleaning supplies. So please be respectful of our home and don’t take this personal. We care about you our guest, as much as we care about our housekeepers, without them we wouldn’t be able to host you. Thanks so much for your understanding.
 

Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean and ready-to-rent condition and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The Tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit prior to refund if Tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings.
