The master bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed and a large walk-in closet. A unique antique wardrobe, built in the 1880s is the pièce de résistance that completes this bedroom ensemble.
The wrap-around sofa in the living room is large enough for everyone to settle in for a movie night or just to enjoy board games.
We have added a very comfortable memory foam sleeper sofa in the den that will accommodate extra guests. Multiple closets provide all the room you could need for your gear. Free WiFi, cable and Netflix keep you connected and entertained!
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a hearty, home-cooked meal, and Harmon’s Grocery is a mere two blocks away. But hey, you’re on vacation! The adventurers in the group can hit the slopes while others can head to Sugarhouse or Downtown to shop, eat and explore.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
You are welcome to park outside the front door on 1300 East except from 7:30-9:30 AM. However we recommend that you park on a side street as below. Our home is located on 1300 East between Browning and Harrison Streets. You can park on either street (Browning or Harrison) at any time, in any spot - the only restriction is that your car must be moved every 2 days, even if it’s just a few feet forward or backward.
Sugarhouse features dozens of restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques to explore.
If you’re vacationing here for both skiing AND Downtown Salt Lake City, this rental is ideally located: 10 minute walk to Sugarhouse hub, 20 minute walk to the light rail system,10 minutes by car to Downtown and no more than 30-45 minutes to all the ski resorts. If you have no interest in skiing, that’s fine too - there is plenty to do within minutes of our property. This property is located right on the bus route to everything Salt Lake City has to offer.

Quiet hours begin at 10pm. Indoor and outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum. This property is equipped with a decibel meter and the police will be notified should there be any noise disturbances. Tenants shall use the property for legal purposes only and NO other use, such as, but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring of fugitives, etc., shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits. The police will be notified should the Landlord suspect any illegal activities.
Please take out all trash.
Please pile used towels, washcloths and kitchen towels in the bathtub.
Please be sure to wash all your dishes.
Please return any moved objects or furniture back to their original spots.
Please lock the doors and close the windows.
Fee for bringing pets: $200
I, Carmen, suffer from really bad allergies and many times I had to use my EPIPEN when my asthma rescue inhaler doesn’t open my lungs. If you know somebody with really bad allergies you know what I’m talking about. So for respect to allergic people, we ask you to not bring your pets into our property.
We advertise as a pet-free, allergy-friendly vacation rental and it takes a certified asthma and allergy cleaning company to get rid of pet hair and dander.
There are many hosts that welcome pets. If you plan on traveling with your pet, please look for another property. I don’t want to cancel your reservation and charge you a $200 fee to hire a professional allergy cleaning company.
Fee for smoking inside the house: $250 (fee goes towards cleaning carpets, drapes, bedding and other fabrics where smoke was trapped). Includes use of vaping or e-cigarettes
Fee for unauthorized guests: $10/per night per person
We will charge the credit card on file an additional $10/per night per person for every unauthorized guest. You should have seen this fee if you entered the right amount of guests before booking our place.
Fee for not following check-out instructions: $25 per extra hour of labor.
The cleaning fee charged for this property covers 4 hours of cleaning. It also includes the cost of professional laundry service and cleaning supplies. So please be respectful of our home and don’t take this personally. We care about you as our guest as much as we care about our housekeepers; without them we wouldn’t be able to host you. Thanks so much for your understanding.
Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean and ready-to-rent condition and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The Tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit prior to refund if Tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings.
