THE SPACE:

Urban Bungalow is perfect for a stay if you’re in town to attend a convention, see your kids off to University of Utah OR even if you’re visiting them there! Perhaps you’re on a vacation with family/friends to get in some skiing. Our location places you within 5 minutes of Downtown and the University of Utah and moreover, gives you world class skiing at a convenient 20 to 30 mile drive to the Utah Mountains.

The rental has a master bedroom and a guest bedroom, both furnished with queen sized beds. Our spacious living area includes two sleeper sofas to accommodate extra guests. Each bed has been carefully selected with comfort in mind and accessorized with luxury bedding.
Free WiFi, Cable and Netflix keeps you connected and entertained!

There’s our equipped kitchen should you want to cook your meals. However, if eating out is something you look forward to – and this being in a prime location - there are more than several restaurants just a few minutes away.


BREAKFAST:

Our kitchen comes with the convenience of all the breakfast basics to get you off to a good start during your stay with us. Make yourself a cup of coffee, a refreshing glass of juice, and toss up a couple of eggs with your toast. Pancakes? Waffles?  You’ll find the convenience of having them all within reach.

Keyless entry into the home relieves you of the inconvenience of keeping track of keys. A customized, easy- to- remember code will be provided specifically for your group.

Urban Bungalow gives you every advantage of living in a prime spot (everything being a 5 minute drive away) and the luxury of chic and comfort. While the adventurous hit the slopes, the others can head Downtown to shop, eat and explore Temple Square. Is that convenient or what!

We’re happy to chat and share our tips for things to do in the area. But we also respect that you’re here to explore, not talk to us, but we are always available to answer any questions or concerns.


OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Our vacation rental is a few minutes away from Trolley Square – near 600 South and 900 East. 9th East Trax Station is nearby and provides quick and easy access to Downtown or the University. The popular 9th and 9th area is only two blocks away!

If you’re heading here for both skiing AND Downtown Salt Lake City, you’ll find our rental is perfectly located – 5 minutes from Downtown and no more than 30 miles from all the ski resorts.

House Rules

NO PETS, NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING, NO DRUGS! 

Quiet hours begin at 10pm. Indoor and outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum. This property is equipped with a decibel meter and the police will be notified should there be any noise disturbances. Tenants shall use the property for legal purposes only and NO other use, such as, but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring of fugitives, etc., shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits. The police will be notified should the Landlord suspect any illegal activities. 

Check-out Instructions:

Please take out all trash. 
Please pile used towels, washcloths and kitchen towels in the bathtub.
Please be sure to wash all your dishes. 
Please return any moved objects or furniture back to their original spots. 
Please lock the doors and close the windows.

Additional Fees
Fee for bringing pets: $200
I, Carmen, suffer from really bad allergies and many times I had to use my EPIPEN when my asthma rescue inhaler doesn’t open my lungs. If you know somebody with really bad allergies you know what I’m talking about. So for respect to allergic people, we ask you to not bring your pets into our property. 


We advertise as a pet-free, allergy-friendly vacation rental and it takes a certified asthma and allergy cleaning company to get rid of pet hair and dander.

There are many hosts that welcome pets. If you plan on traveling with your pet, please look for another property. I don’t want to cancel your reservation and charge you a $200 fee to hire a professional allergy cleaning company.

Fee for smoking inside the house: $250 (fee goes towards cleaning carpets, drapes, bedding and other fabrics where smoke was trapped). Includes use of vaping or e-cigarettes

Fee for unauthorized guests: $10/per night per person 
We will charge the credit card on file an additional $10/per night per person for every unauthorized guest. You should have seen this fee if you entered the right amount of guests before booking our place.

Fee for not following check-out instructions: $25 per extra hour of labor.
The cleaning fee charged for this property covers 4 hours of cleaning. It also includes the cost of professional laundry service and cleaning supplies. So please be respectful of our home and don’t take this personally. We care about you as our guest as much as we care about our housekeepers; without them we wouldn’t be able to host you. Thanks so much for your understanding.


Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean and ready-to-rent condition and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The Tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit prior to refund if Tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings.
